Jalil - Chowdhury Institute of Education and Research (J.C School)" is established in a pleasant environment in Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) and his followers 360 Auliya blessed holy land of Sylhet's traditional area Gailapganj Municipal Council in Handirpar, Phulbari village. The teaching activities of the institution have started on 1st January 2019 in the academic year. As an infrastructure, a large 4-storey building with 26 spacious rooms has been completed. There is a wide field in front of the school. Necessary furniture’s, fans, lights and good sanitation system have been prepared for the school. Skilled and experienced teachers have been appointed. In the last 2019 academic year, students from 6th class to 9th class have been admitted. Note that, in the academic year 2020, we are going to launch a high quality KG school along with the secondary school. 2020 AD: In the academic year, we will admit students from play-to-ninth grade. Mr. Abdul Jalil Chowdhuri, the founder of "Jalil-Chowdhury Institute of Education and Research" is the son of this area. He grew up in the dust of this area and in the company of the people of the area. So, as a child of this soil, he has established the school with that name on the occasion of doing something for the people of the area. Soon this institution will be transformed into a quality educational institution. The dream of the founder is to provide good education to the students of the area, develop their talents and build them as good citizens. To this end, the activities of the institution are being conducted in a safe and orderly learning environment. In addition to reading, special emphasis will be given on co-curricular activities, annual sports and cultural competitions, annual milad mahfil, observance of national days and annual educational tours to develop the minds of the students. It is to be noted that in order to modernize the education, the students will be imparted up-to-date education through multimedia projectors, smart bars, computer labs. Special emphasis is laid on teaching mathematics, science, technology and language in the teaching activities. The founder's dream is intertwined with all this. As the principal of the institution, I can assure you that you can enroll your son/daughter in this school by trusting us. Thanks to the sincere efforts of all and the mercy of God Almighty, this institution will soon be able to take its place as a reputed school in Sylhet Board.
